I am so sick of people being judged for their musical taste. Or being told what they listen to is not good enough. People listen to what the fuck they want to listen to. Whether the artist is “mainstream,” “manufactured,” or whatever you want to call it.

I heard a song while I was watching the show Gossip Girl, which, yes, I watch even though I’ve been out of my teens for quite awhile, by Lana Del Rey. I had no clue who she was, what she looked like, I just liked the song. I have come to like most of her other songs but now I’m being told by idiots that I like her only because she was manufactured to be liked based on her looks. Ummmmm…. I never saw what the fuck she looked like until about 2 weeks after I first heard the song. So don’t give me shit for liking what I like, or tell me the reason I like something.

This country has become a bunch of judgmental assholes and it’s getting fucking old.

Watch what you want, listen to what you like, do whatever you fucking feel like. End of story.
